Yes, laser hair removal is completely safe for removing unwanted hair growth. The device we use (LightSheer) is specially developed for hair removal and has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (F.D.A.), the highest authority that tests medical equipment.
There are no known side effects for the device we use, but in occasional cases you may experience a pigment shift of a temporary nature. This pigment shift can occur if one has been under the sunbed or in the sun just before or after treatment. To prevent this, it is best not to expose your skin to direct sunlight or under the sunbed between 6 and 8 weeks before and after treatment. Your practitioner will discuss these rules with you during the intake. It is important to always be honest with your practitioner about tanning to ensure your safety.
Our skin therapists who perform the treatments are all certified and therefore authorized to perform the treatments. In addition, they all have the necessary experience, both of the equipment and the skin as an organ. They will give you tips and advice to make the treatments as pleasant as possible and it is therefore important that you take these tips and advice to heart. It is wise to indicate during the intake interview whether you are taking medication and whether you have recently undergone surgery. Future surgery may also affect the start date of the treatments.
At Solution Clinic we treat you with utmost care and respect for your privacy.
